 Once again, yesterday afternoon, it happened in Ashkelon - the tense quiet was disturbed by a volley of Grad missiles, one of which directly hit a private house in the city and totally destroyed it.
9 year old Naomi screamed at everyone "Get into the protected room" and by doing so saved her 66 year old grandmother and her 7 year old brother who were with her in the living room.
Little David, who ran to the protected room, and who was saved at the last minute, did not abandon his beloved teddy bear, with whom he sleeps every night, and whilst running for shelter insisted on picking the bear up and saving it.
Naomi chose to take her new school satchel with her which she had just been given for her birthday.
The MDA teams who came to the house within minutes, broke into the house which was full of dust and smoke, moved metal and furniture and other belongings that were blocking the entrance to the protected room and rescued the members of the family, who this time were lucky.
