first responder Natanel Lipschuetz

23-02-10 , 14:38

Natanel Lipschuetz - First responder at the Jerusalem Region, operating the HILDA & SAMUEL MARKS FOUNDATION Motorbike.

" It was early Saturday morning when I received an emergency call - Adult, arrhythmia, pace maker activated."

I was the first to arrive to the patient's home. The patient seemed a bit familiar and I started treating him. He told us that during the night he received a shock from the pace maker and two more now.

The patient explained that he had the pace maker implanted 10 days before due to a severe heart attack. I asked him where it was and he gave me the address. That is when it hit me - two weeks ago I was sent off to a call regarding an adult who was laying on the street.

Since I was with the motorbike - I was the first to arrive to the scene and the ambulance arrived shortly after. The man was laying, no pulse, unconscious.

We called for a MICU and started resuscitation. It took just one electric shock and the man's pulse was back. He was taken to t hospital.

This was the same man - it was an extremely emotional moment. The family was there and they told me that they tried to find me through MDA but due to privacy regulations, could not get any personal information.

There is nothing like these moments in my life to keep me going and give me strength to carry on my volunteering work day and night.

Cases like these are an example and a living proof for the importance of our motorbikes"

These were the words of Netanel Lipschuetz

We here thank him for his devotion and dedication to the saving of human lives.
