On Wednesday, 18th August 2010, fifty graduates of the overseas volunteer programme, who had been volunteering in MDA stations all over the country, gathered together in the Tel Aviv MDA station for a ceremony in which they were given certificates - about a week before they began returning home to their own countries - after having volunteered for about 6 weeks in MDA.
The volunteers hailed from the USA, Canada, England, Holland, France, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The voluntary work of youngsters from abroad in MDA is of the utmost importance to the organisation and for the strengthening of ties of these youngsters with the State of Israel.
Their volunteering experience working together with teams from MDA Israel is a character building and educational experience, whilst at the same time getting to know Israel society in a very special way through their meaningful voluntary work.
Mr. Norman Feingold called on them emotionally to continue volunteering in their own communities, to instigate activities on behalf of MDA and the State of Israel, to establish contact with organizations of Friends of MDA in their own countries and to take an active part in the activities of these organizations, whilst forming active groups of young people and adults in the places where they live.
There is no one better than them to pass on information about MDA using their own personal widespread experiences.
